PRIVACY LAYER 2 — TESTNET
INTRODUCTION

What BLOX is

BLOX is a privacy Layer 2 that settles to a base chain. It is a real chain, not a simulation of one — it produces its own blocks on a fixed 500 ms slot, executes standard transactions through an unmodified VM pipeline, charges fees in its own native gas token BLX, and anchors its state to the base layer with settlement records and full data-availability batches.

On top of that chain sits the reason it exists: an enshrined, multi-asset shielded pool. Value enters publicly, moves privately, and exits publicly — ownership and amounts in between are protected by Groth16 proofs rather than by trust in an operator.

Public testnet

Everything live today — this explorer, the bridge, the faucet — runs on the BLOX testnet. Test BLX has no monetary value and is handed out freely by the faucet. Mainnet is a future milestone with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000 BLX.
